“Home Status” For Ring Alarm issues
When asking Alexa for my “Home Status” and my Ring alarm is set to Armed Home, I will receive the following message: “Ring Alarm Status Unknown”. But if my Ring Alarm is disarmed “Home Status” will state “Ring Alarm disarmed”.
Secondly, I can change the status of my alarm in the SimpleCommands (SC) app to “Armed Home” and “Disarmed”, but I cannot change it to “Armed Away.”I went ahead and changed the alarm to “Armed Away” in the Ring App and the SC app showed the status of “Armed Away”. But Home Status stated the same status unknown message as “Home Armed” did.
